Circa 2004 the music community in the South around the Wiltshire/Hampshire area was at its peak with regular shows, gatherings and everyone in their element. Probably the most significant event was the festival Mikeapalooza where bands and party goers set upon the sleepy village of Boyton to celebrate the birth of our own Mike Dyer. This momentous occasion also celebrated everything magnificent the music community had thrown at each other over the past year and for the summer to come. September 2004 and the majority of the students had buggered off to University only reuniting on Christmas breaks and summer holidays. The adventure had died down and year by year this slowly decreased with commitments lying in new pastures.

On return from University with good grades and bad grades across the board, and travellers returning with worthy life experience many came back to find old pub stools they once sat on replaced with young folk starting their own journey.

This provoked a magical idea for the need to bring old times to new times. The revolution brings the community together again with new shows, gatherings, and most importantly the 2nd festival in summer 2009. FLOM brings it all to life and that little shove up the rear to get you all back in gear and bring everyone together. So what if you’re now a fulltime worker, so are we! But you should have more money now, and hopefully your weekends off too, so join us as we rejoice the new generation, bringing parties and music to a new level. Thank you and see you soon.
